Prohibited items

In the interest of safety certain items are not permitted at Basingstoke Live. If you are in possession of prohibited items inside the event they will be confiscated.

There will be bins available at all entrance gates where you will have the opportunity to dispose of any items. If you do not wish to dispose of an item, or take it away, then you will be refused entry to the event.

No items may be left at the gate for collection.

Items prohibited in the event arena include (but are not limited to):

  • Glass bottles and containers (including jars of baby food and bottles of perfume)
  • Fireworks, flares, flying lanterns and smoke canisters
  • Laser pointers or projectors
  • Guns (including BB guns), knives, clubs, bats or other items that could be used as a weapon
  • BBQ and camp cooking equipment
  • Gazebos and tents
  • Bicycles
  • Illegal or suspected illegal substances
  • Nitrous Oxide canisters
  • Naked flames and candles
  • Dogs and other pets (except Recognised Assistance Dogs)

Please note:

THERE IS NO ENTRY WITH ALCOHOL. THERE IS ALSO NO ENTRY AFTER 8PM ON SATURDAY 8 JULY.

You can bring non-alcoholic drinks in with you but they must be sealed and unopened.

If you want to drink alcohol at the event, you will need to bring an acceptable form of photographic identification with you. Basingstoke Live will be operating a ‘challenge 25’ policy. If you are considered to be under the age of 25 you may be asked for ID. Wrist bands will also be issued on entry to those who wish to purchase alcohol and are over 18.
